Expectations and interest are high for today’s opening ceremonies, educational programming, and sold-out Exhibit Hall of this NEW, first-of-its kind event, laser-focused on all aspects of print finishing.
Franklin, TN—Amplify, a NEW showcase for the print finishing industry, hosted by the Association for PRINT Technologies (APTech) and the Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA), will kick off today, Tuesday, June 14, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, MN. Event organizers are expecting more than 1,000 attendees to participate in the three-day event, in the wake of a lengthy absence of face-to-face events for the industry.
The day will begin with educational programming, punctuated at 10:00 am with GET AMPED!, a fun and fast-paced welcome to the Amplify program for all participants, featuring quick introductions to some of the many people and personalities, who will be speaking, exhibiting, and attending the event. Then, immediately following this lively kick-off to Amplify, attendees and exhibitors alike will join the Grand Opening of the Exhibit Hall, as the event gets underway.
On Monday, June 13, the day before Amplify, the Sustainability Summit, in a pre-event salute to environmental responsibility, got the educational programming underway and attracted record attendance. With a direct focus on the latest information on respect for the environment and sustainability in print and packaging, especially around recyclability of products with special finishing applications, including decorative foils and coatings.
Amplify—the new, innovative showcase for the print finishing and embellishment industry—will spotlight innovation and technology in action with live equipment demos on the event floor. Amplify sets its sights on raising the standard for metallic decorating techniques, folding and gluing, UV coating, laminates, laser cutting, binding, embossing, diecutting, and direct mail by showcasing the brands, products, equipment, software, and experts involved in the processes.
