Personalization in packaging is a growing market trend. But the uptake is quite slow; mostly the big brands are starting to use it, but, even then, the rate of adoption has been increasing steadily. This study investigates the digital package printing press market and offerings in the U.S. for each segment within packaging (i.e., folding carton, flexible, labels and corrugated). It identifies what the expectations are for converters and brand owners when adopting digital packaging printing technology. In addition, it addresses the impact of customization and personalization in packaging printing.
